Salt Life Partners with World Paddle Association in 2014


Salt Life, a division of Delta Apparel is proud to announce the newly formed partnership with the WPA (World Paddle Association), an organization dedicated to the promotion of competitive SUP (Stand Up Paddling) events in the United States and other regions of the world. Salt Life will promote the brand through events, promotions, social marketing and athlete clinics at WPA sanctioned events in 2014.

“The World Paddle Association is focused on providing a great experience through our race series that includes everyone from SUP novices to Elite paddlers,” explained Byron Kurt, the President of the World Paddle Association. “Partnering with an apparel brand like Salt Life will allow us to reach a larger audience that is dedicated to watersports and the healthy lifestyle of stand up paddling.”

Salt Life and the WPA will be announcing the upcoming events along with dates for 2014 in the coming weeks.  Salt Life is also looking to expand their partnership at the WPA Championships at the end of October 2014.  Salt Life will also be taking part in a monthly product giveaway through the newly formed WPA Social membership that is offered free of charge and SUP/Surf clinics with 3 time World Longboard Champion, Salt Life ambassador Colin McPhillips.
