2016 World Paddle Championships Presented by SALT LIFE location announced!

SALT LIFE TAPPED TO PRESENT THE WPA PADDLE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2016 IN COLUMBUS, GEORGIA AUGUST 26-28th AT WOODRUFF PARK 

THE WORLD PADDLE ASSOCIATION, UPTOWN COLUMBUS, INC. AND SALT LIFE WILL OFFER $15,000 IN PRIZE MONEY AND QUADRUPLE POINTS TOWARD THE SALT LIFE CUP WPA NATIONAL RACE SERIES

 

COLUMBUS, Ga. (May 20, 2016) —Salt Life, one of today’s leading apparel brands, will present the World Paddle Association’s 2016 WPA Paddle Championships in conjunction with Uptown Columbus, Inc. being held at Woodruff Park in downtown Columbus, Georgia August 26-28. The WPA Championships will offer $15,000 in prize money and quadruple points toward the Salt Life Cup WPA National race series in one of the most unique event settings on the famed Chattahoochee River.

This will be the sixth year running of the WPA Paddle Championships that conduct unique paddle events resulting in distinctive experiences for all. “We’re excited to host the WPA Championships and work with this great and growing organization,” states Richard Bishop, President and CEO of Uptown Columbus, Inc. “We are looking forward to having all the competitors and their guests visiting Uptown Columbus,” he continued.
