<strong>April 21</strong> <strong>Half-Moon Open Ocean Challenge Folly Beach, SC</strong>
Join Half-Moon Outfitters and Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission (CCPRC) when Half Moon Open Ocean Challenge brings water sports adventure to Folly Beach, SC, at the Folly Beach Fishing Pier on April 21, 2013, 9:00 AM. Registration $50.00
The Race will appeal to intermediate and advanced paddlers as well as spectators. A surf-style SUP race unique to the area, will feature a surf course with buoy turns and beach sprints. Benefiting Charleston Waterkeeper.
The Half Moon Open Ocean Challenge, will be in conjunction with the East Coast Paddlesports and Outdoor Festival, April 19-21, which the entire Family will enjoy.

<strong>October 12</strong> <strong>4th Annual Golden Nugget Shem Creek, Mt. Pleasant, SC</strong>
Scenic Shem Creek will provide the backdrop for the Fourth Annual Half-Moon Outfitters Golden Nugget SUP Paddle Race. One of the highlights of the Charleston, SC area, Shem Creek is the home for shrimp boats and watermen alike.
The Golden Nugget Race will have two categories: a Recreational 5k and an Elite 10k and is expected to draw racers from all over the country.
